Lots of exciting things going on with the business lately! Oh boy, just let me tell you. For one, I've learned how to be a pretty good traveler/packer/airport meal eater. (I really should write a post about some of those things,...and some of the things I had to learn the hard way :P) This especially comes in handy with those out-of-state weddings! Since the move to TX last fall, I've been traveling what feels like non-stop lately. I leave again Friday for two weddings in VA that fall on the last 2 weekends of the month...then I get to be here in TX for all the October weddings! How that happened, I have no idea. I'm pretty sure God knew I'd need to stay local for a bit :) Plus, Joel and I's third anniversary is at the beginning of the month and I'll actually be in town!! YESSSS!!! On our first anniversary I had a wedding to shoot and Betty was sick. On our second anniversary, we signed a contract on a house without having even stepping foot in it! Now, for our third...who knows what it holds, but I'm just excited to be home for it. Also, I've had the honor of some pretty amazing features lately! Still can't believe these. Srrsly. Friday, the ladies over at Wedding Chicks featured one of my favorite weddings from last fall! The wedding of Trish and Hans had some stellar details, so be sure to check out the post! Bayside Bride featured Kalena and Joe's Annapolis engagement session last month on their blog. I just adore this blog...the ladies who run it, the content, everything :) So much goodness! On another front, my website designed by Jen of Deleted Space Creative has really felt the SHOWIT love and welcome to the community! I mean, I had heard Showit was a great community, but daaaaand ya'll! It's love, a whole lot of it. It's such an awesome thing to be a part of. If you've been thinking about getting a Showit site...DO IT. You won't regreat it one bit. Best business decision I've made.
We got Designer Site of the Week through the SHOWIT Facebook page a few weeks ago. You can imagine my excitement when I got a text from Jen about it.
One of my favorite summertime engagements over on Bayside Bride!
