Some things I loved about Lori and Paul's wedding day: 1. Lori's accessories. Oh my sweet goodness, this girl has style.
2. The ceremony. Lori and Paul offered communion to their guests. Not only did they offer it, but they were the ones passing it along to their guests. I hadn't seen this done at any other wedding, I really really loved it.
3. The vibe. The whole day was so chill and laid back. From the moment we met them at the hotel for getting ready photos, to the reception...it just felt like a breeze. Ahhh, such great planning. Speaking of planning, and things you can't plan for, see #4
4. Their flexibility. After the ceremony, we all drove to the reception site which should have been an easy 5-10 minute drive. Well, there was bumper to bumper traffic we couldn't get around, which ended up taking about 30 minutes....and guess what that time was really supposed to be used for. PORTRAITS!! You can imagine my panic when we got stuck in traffic. When we arrived to the venue, Lori and Paul made it a priority to take portraits with us. After all, these are the photos you hang up in your home after the wedding! I'm so glad they squeezed in time for this with that horrid traffic! We shot fin the parking lot so we didn't waste time walking anywhere, and it was just perfect. I hope you guys love these photos as much as I do!
5. Lastly, THE CAKE. Wait til you see it....just scroll on down, friends.
Lori and Paul, you were a dream to photograph and get to know along the way! I'm so thrilled to have been a part of this amazing time in your lives! I hope you enjoy the memories!
Special thanks to my fabulous friend and second shooter for the day, Tori! Loved having you there with me!
