No more than 5 minutes after Chris and Jessie arrived for their after session did the skies open up and just pour down rain on us. Oh no, it wasn't just a light rain, it was that heavy sideways rain that makes it hard to stay dry with even an umbrella. We camped out in the car for about 10 minutes until it passed. Once it was gone, we were good to go! On their wedding day, Chris and Jessie opted for a sunset ceremony and no first look, knowing full and well their portraits would take place on a different day. Shooting on a different day is pretty great because you don't have to worry about getting your dress dirty before the reception or having humidified hair (thanks Houston). Plus, it allowed them to get the portraits they wanted in different location than their wedding venue with no time restraints. Win, win all around.
Thanks for making the great trek out to Kingwood for the perfect tree spot! I enjoyed spending the afternoon with ya'll! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
