Last blog post touched on my fear of snakes...this one? My fear of being stuck in an elevator and it DROPPING. (Looks like I'm facing all sorts of fears lately!) We were riding up to their honeymoon suite to take the above photo, when all of a sudden the elevator gets stuck on floor 11. Only one floor short of our destination! Oh boy. Thank the Good Lord I was stuck in that elevator with Amy and Sam! They are both trained in elevator safety, and Amy is the only person that has actually saved someone's life that should have died in elevator accident. Like I said, I'm still thanking my lucky stars I was with them during that particular event. Fwhew! This wedding was INNNcredible. Beginning to end I was just in love. First of all, if you know Amy and Sam, you know how easy going and affectionate they are. Total win. Their details were gorgeous, it was an amazing hotel, we worked with a fantastic coordinator, ate delicious food, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. The highlight of the day had to be the emotional first sight on the Rice University Campus. Or was it the Rolls Royce send off? Or the German drinking song Amy's grandpa lead? Or the Lebanese dances?! Maybe it was them jumping on their honeymoon bed right after their grand exit. Too many favorite moments to choose just one! I loved them all.
Amy and Sam, I had such a blast with you throughout your wedding day! It was such an honor to capture all those moments and be a part of it all. Thank you for trusting me with those memories! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.
Special thanks to my dear friend, Rachel, who flew in from VA to help me shoot this day and spend some time in Houston! So happy to have had you by my side that day, and couldn't have done it without you! Much love, friend!
