First Film Roll

A couple weeks ago while I was out of town, I received my very FIRST film scans in an email! I pulled up dropbox on my phone fully expecting them to be completely botched. To my surprise, they weren't! I'm actually quite pleased with them! I know I have quite a ways to go in the film realm, but for a place to start, this gets me so encouraged to keep chasing this new adventure.

My sweet friend Jessica, with Ever and Anon, let me tag along for a shoot she was doing in Kingwood one day, with the sole purpose of helping me learn how to shoot film. My first roll to be exact. Her guidance, encouragement, and teaching helped get me through 36 frames that day. And that's all I shot for the session. 36 frames. It was so refreshing! I will say, It was such a habit to shoot a frame, then look at the back of my camera to see what I got....like a FOOL. There's no screen back there on film!

Biggest thanks and a thousand hugs to Jess for being patient with me and all my questions that day teaching me film. You're the best and I'm so thankful for you.

Thanks to Photovision for the scans! These are straight scans with no tweaks so I can revisit these along the way to see my growth. korielynn-first film_002korielynn-first film_003korielynn-first film_004korielynn-first film_005korielynn-first film_006korielynn-first film_007korielynn-first film_008
